A few weeks back we decided to celebrate the new concrete skate-bowl in Gamlebyen with a tribute to our old skate-brands like Santa Cruz, Vans, Powell etc. Here is the Grand result of two days of painting with flash, achoe, slu/slurv, deus, ide and ohno.

Was invited to contribute to Varsko v4 and was happy to accept. Unforunately I took on waaay to many things to do in the same space of time, so the result didn’t have the kind of quality I would like it to have. I think a little bit better of it now than when I just finished it, but still not happy. Anyways, here it is:
You can find other photos from the party / exhibit here and here.
During Easter I bought a mini-munny. I already have a regular munny, but I thought I’d start out testing customization on a smaller (and cheaper…) one. First I spraypainted it with belton molotow 093 & 091, then I used white acrylic paint and pigment liners to decorate. What I got out of this experience was that a mini-munny is a bit too small to do anything spectacular in detail on, and the spray paint scales off pretty easily if not very careful. I’ve seen people at the kidrobot-forums recomending sanding or/and priming the munny before painting, might have to give that a try next time…

The last few of months I’ve been playing Skate a lot on my PS3, I have to say it has to be one of the best games of last year. I find myself picking up the game just to go for a skate, as I would in real life. Maybe trying to find some new spots or just to cruise around for a bit. Might be an oldie, but today I found a video taking Skate to a new level…
